Defending Our Public Schools, Standing Up for Our Town

Public schools are the heart of every town in New Hampshire. Morgan wants to fund them in a way that's fair, transparent, and doesn't keep piling costs onto local property taxpayers.

Right now, the funding system for public education isn't balanced. Some school choice programs receive state dollars with very little oversight of how that money is actually spent, while local public schools, the ones that most of our kids attend, are left leaning harder on property taxes to make up the difference that the state used to provide. Morgan wants to see more accountability and transparency built into how these programs are funded, so towns aren't left covering the gap.

Every student deserves a real path forward, whether that's a trade, college, the military, or starting a business. Morgan will push for stronger career and technical education so students have real choices. None of this works without good teachers, staff, and administrators. The people who show up for our kids every day work hard and deserve fair pay, real support, and job stability, not constant uncertainty about their future.

Taxpayers deserve the truth about where their money goes. Students need a high-quality education without forcing local taxpayers to pay an unfair tab.
